Vietnam employment market performed well in 2024, with 1.6 million new jobs created throughout the year, urban unemployment rate maintained below 2.5%.
Manufacturing and services are the main sectors absorbing employment. With the continuous increase of FDI projects, employment demand in industrial parks and export processing zones continues to grow.
On wages, the national minimum wage standard was raised, average wages across industries grew 5-8%. Technology, finance and logistics sectors saw the most significant wage growth.
